Danielle Jeffery, MACP
Danielle, has been married for over 15 years and is mother to three beautiful children. She is an active participant and volunteer at her local church, within the community and in her children’s school. With a desire to make a difference for the marginalized of our society, Danielle is routinely involved in charitable efforts, including partnering with various organizations to provide treatment for those without means. When not working, she enjoys hiking with her family and dogs, delving into a book with a good cup of coffee, cooking for and hosting friends in her home, or planning the next family travel adventure.
Danielle is a Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as well as with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). She completed her Honors Bachelor of Science Psychology Specialist Degree with Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2008. She completed her Master of Arts Counselling Psychology Degree from Yorkville University in 2015, with an internship specialization in trauma and rehabilitation. Danielle is currently completing the Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy program at Yorkville University. Her academic research has focused on the use of therapist self-disclosure and culturally competent practice.
Danielle established a private practice in 2018, which has since grown to a small team of psychotherapists. The practice provides evidence based treatment to individuals, children, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges including mental illness, life transitions, relationship concerns, and physical ailments including chronic pain. After receiving formal training in clinical supervision, Danielle has been providing supervision to psychotherapists since 2020. She is passionate about supporting emerging psychotherapists as they establish their professional identity.
Danielle routinely has the privilege of presenting as a keynote speaker. She provides workshops and training to both professionals and the public in a variety of settings, including retreats, churches, podcasts, and academic institutions.
