James Taylor

Registered Psychotherapist (Q)

James is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). He completed his Bachelor of Christian Counselling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2020 at Canada Christian College. He is currently completing the practicum placement of the Master of Arts Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University under the direct supervision of Danielle Jeffery, RP. James has a passion for meaning-centered and cognitive-behavioural approaches to counselling with adolescents and adults. James has served in many roles within his community as a mentor and guide and is passionate about walking alongside his counselling clients as they seek healing.   

James previously worked as a carpenter apprentice and often has a new renovation project going. The most recent project was a nursery, as he and his wife have welcomed their first baby boy to the family, born in 2022. In his free time, James enjoys adventuring outside and spending quality time, usually around a BBQ, with family and friends.
